When searching for an Airbnb in Savannah’s Historic District, location really matters. The Historic District is charming, walkable, and full of cobblestone streets, moss-draped oaks, and iconic squares — but some blocks are more convenient (and quieter) than others. Best areas to consider:Around Johnson Square, Chippewa Square, and Madison Square — central, classic Savannah squares that put you within easy walking distance to restaurants, nightlife, and Forsyth Park.Bull Street corridor (near Forsyth Park) — great for families or groups who want more green space while still being close to downtown.Barnard Street / Jones Street area — beautiful historic blocks with quieter streets and stunning architecture.Between Broughton Street and the Riverfront — perfect for shoppers and those who want easy access to downtown dining and the river walk. Where to be cautious:Too close to the Jackson Street ramp or the eastern edge near heavy nightlife zones (e.g., River Street party spots) — these can be noisy late into the night and less peaceful for overnight stays.Properties tucked behind loading docks or right next to bars/clubs — they might look charming online but can be louder than expected.Outside the Historic District if your priority is walkability — many listings on the edges (e.g., Starland District or midtown) are lovely but require short rideshares to get to main squares and venues.

The park is a beautiful place to go for a walk! The Farmer's Market runs 9am-1pm on Saturdays. Stop by the Collins Quarter walk up coffee window for a sweet taro latte :)

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Formal attire. Think dark suits for gentlemen and floor-length gowns or elegant cocktail dresses for ladies.

Are children allowed?

We love your little ones but kindly request that our reception is 'adults only' outside of the children in the wedding party and immediate family. We kindly ask that you only bring your children if their names are expressly written on your invitation envelope.

Will transportation be provided?

Trolleys will be provided to and from the hotels where we have hotel blocks set up. If you are not staying at one of these hotels, you are welcome to still hop on the trolley at one of these locations. We kindly ask that you RSVP for the trolleys when RSVP'ing for our wedding so we can plan accordingly.

Is there parking available at the venue.

Yes! Our venue has a private parking lot for personal vehicles.

Can I bring a plus one?

If your invitation includes a guest, they will be listed on your invitation.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Please note all allergies on your RSVP so our caterer can prepare an allergy friendly meal for you.
